War of nerves for Opel

Berlin - The rescue of Opel is a war of nerves. Once again, Opel's parent, General Motors (GM), not opted for a bidder. The group is playing for time, will probably make all the weary! For car expert Dudenhöffer it is also a "disgrace" for the Chancellor.
The takeover poker for Opel - € 4.5 billion will give the federal government to state aid if Magna, the car maker. But GM adjourned again next week. Again, 26,000 Opelaner fear for their jobs.
Background: GM is supposedly unable to agree on a bidder - either the Austro-Canadian supplier Magna or the Belgian financial investor RHJ International. Magna wants to get German Opel sites at RHJ is unclear.
Chancellor Angela Merkel on Saturday beat a speedy decision. That would be "urgently needed". Economics Minister Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg (CSU) said the "jacket": "None of the parties should have an interest in being exposed to the charge cooler Verhandlungstaktiererei."
North Rhine-Westphalia state premier Juergen Ruettgers spoke of an "unbearable burden" - especially for the Opelaner. Opel works council chief Klaus Franz, GM accuses Delay Policy: "The patience of the staff is completely at the end."
Has little hope of Ferdinand Dudenhoeffer. The car experts at Express: "It is a tactical, sad game. GM holds out the federal government - and indeed until after the election. Then the group will be RHJ either supplement or file for bankruptcy. Sooner or later, there are no variants in both German sites more. The Chancellor must act at last - even from my own stupidity. You should be with President Obama call and clarify how to proceed. If it does not make it, she makes a fool of himself. "The U.S. government has already invested billions in GM, might therefore influence the group.
